Rah Lan Blom is an ethnic Jrai Christian from Ploi Kuao village in Gia Lai province. For demanding
religious and indigenous rights, he was arrested in August 2010 and sentenced on April 5, 2011 to nine years’ imprisonment with three years’ house arrest on release for “undermining the national unity policy” (article 87 of the Penal Code). He is last reported detained at An Phước prison camp, Bình Dương province.
